Starting in 2025, the Bosch operations in Blaj are structured under two distinct legal entities:  Bosch Automotive SRL  and  Bosch Rexroth SRL , each specializing in different technological domains.
Since 2007 Bosch Rexroth SRL specializes in  industrial technology , focusing on linear motion systems and hydraulic components. The Rexroth entity in Blaj also operates a  sales division , providing customized solutions and expert support to industrial customers. The ongoing investment in development and performance reinforces Bosch Rexroth’s role as a vital partner in the global industrial sector.
Bosch Automotive SRL focuses on the production of  sensors and transmission control components  for the automotive industry, reinforcing Bosch’s commitment to smart, diversified, and sustainable powertrain solutions. The Blaj plant, active in the automotive sector since 2013, plays a vital role in developing cutting-edge technologies that support the mobility of the future. Through continuous investment in innovation and quality, Bosch Automotive in Blaj strengthens its position as a key supplier in the global automotive market.

Your Mission
At Bosch Rexroth Blaj, we are continuously developing our automation capabilities and introducing new technologies into our manufacturing environment.
We are looking for an Automation & Robotics Engineer who is enthusiastic about robotics, automation, and modern manufacturing technologies.
You will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers , and technology partners to support, improve, and implement automation solutions. The role combines hands-on technical work with opportunities to contribute to new automation projects and gradually take on more responsibility.
You do not need to be an expert in every technology. What matters most is a good technical foundation, practical problem-solving skills , and the motivation to learn and develop .
Your Responsibilities
Automation & Robotics
• Support and improve existing robotic and cobot applications.
• Help ensure stable and reliable operation of automated production equipment.
• Analyze technical problems and support troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in commissioning and implementation of new automation solutions.
• Explore new technologies and identify opportunities for their use in manufacturing.
PLC & Automation Software
• Read and understand PLC programs and automation logic.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of PLC-controlled equipment.
• Work together with internal colleagues, suppliers, and system integrators.
• Support the integration of technologies from Bosch Rexroth, Siemens, and other automation providers.
• Build knowledge in automation architectures, interfaces, and industrial communication.
Manufacturing Development
• Identify opportunities for robotics, cobots, material-flow automation, and other smart manufacturing solutions.
• Contribute ideas to improve productivity, quality, flexibility, and ergonomics.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and help strengthen automation competence within the plant.
• Support the development of future automation solutions for Blaj.

Technical & Non-Technical Background 
• Degree or technical qualification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience or good technical knowledge in industrial automation.
• Basic to good understanding of robotics and/or collaborative robots.
• Familiarity with PLC systems such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth, or comparable platforms.
• Ability to understand and analyze technical problems in automated equipment.
• Basic knowledge of sensors, drives, machine controls, or industrial communication is an advantage.
• English skills: minimum B2.
You don't need to bring experience in all of these areas. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and the motivation to develop further.
