Your Opportunity
We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own the creative engine behind our paid social growth. This role is for someone who lives and breathes creative. You'll lead the research, briefing, testing, and iteration that drives performance on Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and you'll think about every creative decision in terms of the business outcome it delivers, not just what looks good. You're a rare blend of creative and technical: you have genuine taste, and you can execute. That means writing the hook, briefing the edit, or cutting the ad yourself when speed matters more than process. You'll partner closely with the Performance Marketing team to scale paid social into a channel that's driven by creative insight rather than just campaign setup, and to help define Leapsome's creative voice as we continue scaling globally.
What you will do:
Creative Strategy & Positioning
• Develop the positioning, messaging, and creative angles that make HR and People leaders feel understood rather than marketed to.
• Find the moments, frustrations, goals, and everyday realities that resonate with real HR practitioners.
• Translate product and platform experiences into concepts that stop the scroll and drive action.
• Stay close to the customer: watch competitor ads, read comments, study reviews, and let those insights inform every creative decision.
• Turn performance data and testing results into sharper creative strategy by identifying what's working, what isn't, and what to try next.
Creative Production
• Own creative across static image, video/B-roll, and partnership/UGC ads. Lead concepting, briefing, and sign-off end to end.
• Write the copy that anchors the work: hooks, scripts, on-screen text, static copy, and end cards across video and static formats.
• Recut and remix existing ads quickly to generate high-volume creative iterations, and cut/produce ads yourself when speed matters more than process.
• Run creator operations end to end: sourcing, contracting, and whitelisting for UGC and partnership creators.
• Build a steady pipeline of high-performing creative across categories, with a clear test-and-learn cycle behind every concept.
Paid Social Strategy & Media Buying
• Independently own and operate paid social accounts day to day across Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This includes campaign builds, audience/targeting setup, budget allocation, bid strategy, and QA.
• Make media buying and creative decisions through an ROI lens, tying output to cost per conversion, conversion rate, and pipeline impact, not just creative quality.
• Manage and forecast paid social budgets in partnership with the Performance Marketing team.
• Collaborate closely with Growth, Product Marketing, and Design to keep creative aligned with broader campaign strategy.
Who are we looking for?
• 3+ years in a performance marketing or creative strategy role, with hands-on ownership of paid social creative and campaign management.
• A track record you can point to: you led a creative strategy that drove a measurable lift in conversions or sign-ups and moved cost per conversion in the right direction.
• Obsessed with the customer. You think about who you're talking to before you think about what you want to say.
• Hands-on experience editing video (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Experience running creator operations end-to-end (sourcing, briefing, contracting, whitelisting) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Higgsfield, AdCreative.ai , or similar) is a strong plus.
• Comfort working with performance data (Meta/LinkedIn/YouTube Ads Manager, GA4 or equivalent) to inform creative decisions, not just intuition.
• Strong project management and communication skills. You can run multiple creative workflows and reviews at once without losing quality control.
• Quick to pick up new tools: AI creative platforms, editing software, growth analytics. Experience with creative analytics platforms (e.g. Motion) is a plus.
• Working familiarity with paid search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads). You'll occasionally pitch in on paid search tasks alongside our freelance paid search support.
Benefits
• Learning and development: Grow your skills with a €2,000 yearly development budget and full access to the Good Habitz platform.
• Work-from-home stipend: A one-time €1,000 stipend to set up your home workspace.
• Competitive pay and equity: Competitive salary plus a pre-IPO equity package, so you share in the company's growth.
• Corporate benefits: Exclusive discounts and deals from our partner network.
• Vacation: 30 vacation days a year plus public holidays, with the option to upgrade to 40 days at adjusted pay. After 5 years at Leapsome, take a month-long paid sabbatical.
