About the Team The International Shared Services team supports employees and managers across EMEA through a broad range of HR operational services, including HR Service Centre delivery, regional payroll operations, and specialist employee support. The team plays a critical role in guiding employees through key life and career events, including complex leave of absence situations, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. Role Overview This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of complex Leave of Absence (LOA) cases across EMEA , with primary responsibility for France and support for additional jurisdictions, including Italy, as required. The successful candidate will partner closely with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, Benefits, and external agencies to deliver compliant, employee-focused solutions while mitigating operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. The role also provides specialist support across French HR operations, including absence management, time and attendance, payroll administration, statutory reporting, and employee lifecycle processes. The successful candidate will partner closely with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, Benefits, and external agencies to deliver compliant, employee-focused solutions while mitigating operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. The role also provides specialist support across French HR operations, including absence management, time and attendance, payroll administration, statutory reporting, and employee lifecycle processes. Key Responsibilities Leave of Absence Management (EMEA) Manage complex leave of absence cases from initiation through to resolution across EMEA. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers, including navigating sensitive and complex situations. Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant outcomes. Maintain accurate case documentation, reporting, and audit-ready records. Escalate and manage high-risk or complex cases in partnership with HR leadership. Contribute to process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives across LOA operations. France - Time, Attendance & Statutory Absence Administer and manage statutory leave processes, including sickness, maternity, paternity, and other protected absences. Coordinate social security-related administration and employee communications. Manage relationships with French social security authorities (CPAM) and other relevant bodies. Support return-to-work processes following statutory leave. Monitor and administer holiday and RTT entitlements. Partner with Benefits and Payroll teams to ensure alignment between company policies and statutory requirements. France - Payroll & Statutory Administration Provide accurate payroll inputs through local time and attendance systems. Support payroll reconciliation activities, including IJSS payments. Administer social security portals and statutory contributions. Coordinate annual statutory reporting requirements, including BDES and Bilan Social reporting. Manage local employer contributions and regulatory obligations (e.g., Agefiph, apprentissage, 1% logement). Act as a key operational partner to the France Payroll function. France - Employee Lifecycle & Governance Support employee onboarding processes, including DPAE registration and contract verification. Coordinate Occupational Health requirements and statutory medical reviews. Manage work-related accident reporting in partnership with Health & Safety stakeholders. Act as Lead Administrator for Works Council activities, including agenda management, documentation, and meeting records. Prepare and process employee termination documentation and related system updates. Additional HR Operational Support Coordinate learning and development administration activities. Support internship administration and related employee processes. Provide oversight of administrative support activities, including temporary workforce administration and reporting. Required Qualifications Fluency in French and English. Significant HR operations experience within a complex, multinational environment. In-depth knowledge of French employment legislation, statutory leave requirements, and social security processes. Solid understanding of payroll operations and time and attendance administration in France. Experience managing complex employee cases requiring sound judgment, discretion, and risk awareness. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across jurisdictions. Proficie
