Senior Enterprise Systems Developer - Order-to-Cash & Record-to-Report (O2C/R2R) Location: Austin, TX About the Role At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. To achieve this, our internal operations must run seamlessly, securely, and efficiently. We are seeking a highly skilled, forward-thinking Senior Enterprise Systems Developer to join our Enterprise Systems team with a dedicated focus on our core financial operations: the Order-to-Cash (O2C), Revenue Management, and Record-to-Report (R2R) ecosystems. In this role, you will be the primary technical owner for the applications that drive our billing, collections, revenue recognition, general ledger management, and financial consolidations. Your core tech stack will include NetSuite, Zuora RevPro, and Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials - O2C and R2R modules) . Your primary customers will be the Revenue Accounting, Billing, Corporate Accounting, and broader Finance organizations, and you will partner closely with them to optimize how Cloudflare transacts, recognizes revenue, and reports financials at scale. If you are a builder at heart who enjoys solving complex financial system workflows, automating the month-end close, leveraging AI for financial insights, and designing seamless enterprise integrations from Quote-to-Cash through to the General Ledger, this role is for you. What You'll Do Application Administration & Environment Management • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert and developer for Cloudflare’s O2C and R2R technology stack (NetSuite, Zuora RevPro, Oracle Fusion). • Manage user provisioning, complex role-based access control (RBAC), and security settings specific to billing approvals, journal entry (JE) limits, general ledger access, and revenue posting. • Manage application environments (e.g., Production vs. Sandbox/Release Preview), ensuring alignment across all environments from both a data and release perspective to support safe testing of financial changes. • Monitor ongoing application performance and reliability, managing incident workflows to ensure ticket SLAs for the Finance organization are consistently met, especially during critical month-end and quarter-end close periods. • Provide Tier 3 support and end-user enablement, serving as the ultimate technical escalation point for financial system issues. System Development, Integrations & AI Initiatives • Act as the Subject-Matter Expert for integrations across the QTC, O2C, and R2R lifecycles. Ensure the seamless flow of data (e.g., syncing closed-won opportunities to NetSuite/Oracle, passing billing data to Zuora RevPro, and ensuring subledger transactions map flawlessly to the GL). • Design, build, and deploy custom system enhancements, automated billing schedules, journal entry automations, revenue allocation scripts (e.g., SuiteScript), and API integrations between our platforms. • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and governance of native AI features within the financial stack (e.g., AI-driven anomaly detection in journal entries and revenue schedules, automated cash application matching, or intelligent account reconciliations) to accelerate financial operations. • Proactively monitor vendors' quarterly updates and product roadmaps. Lead impact assessments, manage versioning/upgrades, and educate Finance stakeholders on new functionality and AI opportunities. Process Management & Workflow Design • Partner directly with the Chief Accounting Officer's organization, Revenue Accounting, Corporate Accounting, and Billing teams to deeply understand their operational processes and translate business requirements into sophisticated system solutions. • Own the design, configuration, and delivery of complex workflows (e.g., dynamic invoice routing, automated dunning processes, intercompany eliminations, and month-end close orchestrations) to eliminate manual bottlenecks. • Build and maintain scalable system architectures that support complex, high-volume recurring billing, usage-based consumption models, and multi-entity global consolidations. Security, Compliance, & Data Governance • Partner closely with Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams to maintain robust IT General Controls (ITGC) and strict enterprise-wide data governance for financial and customer data. • Spearhead and execute Quarterly Access Reviews (UAR) for all O2C and R2R applications, ensuring accurate access levels and enforci
