Take a leading role in shaping new business growth for Bosch Mobility Australia. You will connect Bosch Mobility’s advanced capabilities with priority Australian markets, build trusted industry relationships and transform market insight into a strong, sustainable pipeline of commercial opportunities. This is a maximum term role with the potential for full-time or part-time opportunity based at our Clayton office with intrastate/interstate travel and potential overseas travel.
About the Role
Step into a high-impact Industry Engagement role where you will shape and execute focused development plans, build a strong pipeline to turn qualified opportunities into revenue. You will take ownership of the business case for short and longer-term growth while expanding Bosch’s presence through influential relationships across industry, government and markets.
You will:
• Explore how Bosch Mobility’s capabilities can respond to emerging market opportunities.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Sales and Marketing to bring market insights and innovative opportunities to life.
• Shape and deliver a dynamic business plan that creates early momentum and supports sustainable growth.
• Build influential relationships across industry, government and key market networks.
• Systematically grow Bosch brand recognition and trust in target sectors.
• Turn promising leads into meaningful commercial opportunities.
We are looking for a commercially minded relationship-builder who can connect complex engineering capabilities with customer and market needs. In this role we are looking for someone to build a strong industry network, sound business development judgement and confidence to engage senior stakeholders across industry and government.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:            
• A degree in engineering and business-related discipline is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated business development experience and entrepreneurial mindset, supported by an established network in mobility-related sectors.
• Strong contacts and stakeholder experience across multiple mobility industry sectors, such as defence, rail and automotive.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to convey complex engineering topics clearly to varied stakeholders.
• Strong networking, cooperation, results orientation and future-focused thinking.
• A valid driver’s licence is required
