About the role
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (preferably on-prem).
• Proficiency in HashiCorp Terraform , automation, and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of Secrets Engines , Authentication methods , and onboarding strategies.
• Troubleshooting complex Vault integration issues and improving service efficiency.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and alerting tools ( Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, SCOM ).
• Experience working in large-scale, global IT environments in an Agile setting (Jira, Jira Service Desk).
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills. Nice to have
• Coding/scripting experience and GitHub best practices.
• Working knowledge of Audit and Compliance requirements.
• Exposure to Scrum Master responsibilities (managing Jira boards, prioritisation).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.

Our client is seeking a Specialist Engineer to join the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineering Function , focusing on HashiCorp Vault . You will play a key role in the Secrets Management Strategic Program , enabling seamless onboarding and providing expert consultation services to support internal customers as adoption grows globally.
The role is hands-on and highly collaborative, offering the chance to influence strategy, contribute to high-profile IT transformation programs, and work with leading technologies and practices in an Agile environment.
