This individual will serve a key function in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development projects.</span></p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead planning, design, and permitting for civil/site and infrastructure projects using engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) in collaboration with Project Engineers.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Effectively uses software, reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, aerial photographs, and guidelines and manuals to assess soil composition, terrain, hydraulic and hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Leads tasks associated with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates and designs for projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform feasibility analyses, cost calculations, and sustainability assessments for development projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage project tasks within established budgets and schedules.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate and perform field inspections, as required.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports (e.g., stormwater, utilities, feasibility studies).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with Technical Directors on proposals, budgets, and invoice reviews.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Communicate and interface effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Apply engineering principles, advanced mathematics, and sustainability/resiliency best practices to project work.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Review and ensure quality of work produced by staff.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Supervise, coordinate, and mentor staff, including engineers and interns; support training and professional development.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate across offices and disciplines, supporting cross-functional project needs and training initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain current knowledge of engineering practices, regulations, and safety standards; actively participate in professional organizations and training.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Performs other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">8+ years’ experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater; management, drainage, and soil erosion is desired;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven track record of delivering Data Centers for Hyperscale Clients preferred;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of sustainability and resiliency best practices;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style
