Learn more: jti.com Local applicants welcome Department: Engineering Location: Vargarda, Sweden Reporting to: Engineering Manager Role: Temporary (12 months) Project Lead The purpose of the role is to lead and coordinate projects that support all factory functions in achieving their targets through effective leadership, training, and coaching. The role involves managing factory CapEx implementation, preparing BAP/Memo investment documents, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors. It also includes leading production improvement initiatives, implementing new processes, and overseeing technical training within the Production Department, including Spare Parts and Preventive Maintenance. Close collaboration with Production, Factory Quality, and Product Development teams on technical projects is essential Position: As the Project Lead, you will: Lead and coordinate projects to fulfil the business objectives with focus on, Safety, Quality, Service and Cost, solid long-term engineering solutions based on feasibility engineering studies, and full compliance with local legislation and JTI regulations Be responsible for all factory CapEx implementation, BAP/MEMO investment process preparation and implementation Understand and revise the scope, time plans, risk matrices of the project to deliver the needed efficiency for the factory operations through effective communication and leadership Collaborate with all departments local and global as required to enlist and lead the projects, and with authorities as needed to fulfill the legal requirements. Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements, proper housekeeping and 5S of all areas within Engineering responsibility and through projects coordination and implementation of sustainable programs. Encourage "Best Practice" standard covering good Safety and infestation man agent. Requirements: Degree in engineering and/or project management 3-5 years of work experience in leading projects for factory or site operations involving machines, CE certifications, buildings & utilities etc. Excellent Swedish, written and spoken Good level of English, written and spoken Knowledge in project management software, methods and tools, together with MS Office and Power BI package Skilled in SAP and purchasing management tools Good overview of legal requirements of factory project management What to expect: Expect wellbeing initiatives, flexible work arrangements, growth opportunities, and excellent benefits, including a unique family leave policy.
