About the role

As a (Senior) Data Engineer , you will be the driving force behind the development and optimization of our cloud-based data platforms . Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will ensure that our data solutions are not only technically excellent but also provide real business value to our customers. Using state-of-the-art technologies, you will develop robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and high-performance data models that enable scalable and efficient data utilization. Your goal: turning data into a strategic asset that empowers companies to make smarter decisions. Your Responsibilities • Data Architecture & Development → Design and implementation of scalable data platforms using Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks) • ETL & Data Processing → Building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines with Databricks, Spark, and Kafka • Data Warehousing & Modeling → Developing robust data models and optimizing performance for efficient queries • Automation & CI/CD → Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and testing • Collaboration with Business & Tech Teams → Close coordination with Data Scientists, Analytics Teams, and Business Stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions • Best Practices & Scalability → Ensuring our data solutions are sustainable, maintainable, and future-proof • Experience & Tech Stack → Several years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, ideally with a focus on Microsoft Azure • Technical Expertise → Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault) • Cloud & Big Data Knowledge → Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks • Performance Optimization → Understanding of how to scale data pipelines and optimize queries efficiently • Business Understanding → Ability to develop solutions that are not only technically excellent but also create clear business value • Communication & Teamwork → Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams • Language Skills → Fluent English (C1) ; Why Join Us? • State-of-the-Art Technologies → Work with Azure, Databricks, and leading cloud technologies on innovative Data & AI projects • High Performance & Ambition → We are looking for driven professionals who want to make an impact • Steep Learning Curve & Development Opportunities → Benefit from regular training, certifications, and exciting projects • Innovative Company Culture → We foster a hands-on mentality, team spirit, and data-driven excellence
