The position This is an exciting time to join Remote as the Senior Product Manager, Remote Build , helping customers connect their existing systems, workflows, and applications to Remote's global employment platform. Remote Build supports customers who need expert guidance and delivery support to integrate Remote with the tools and processes they already use. You'll help shape integrations and apps that are reliable, scalable, easy to adopt, and grounded in Remote's deep expertise in global employment, payroll, and compliance. Your mission is to make every customer engagement compound — turning recurring integration and app needs into repeatable, high-quality experiences that deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and the business. Key Responsibilities • Integration Architecture & Design: Lead deep-dive technical discovery into Remote’s APIs and partner APIs. Understand data mapping, data flows, authentication flows, API keys, edge cases, and compliance requirements across 100+ countries. • Customer-Led Prioritization: Prioritize integration and app work based on customer needs, product impact, technical feasibility, operational complexity, and repeatability. • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, design, operations, GTM, sales, CX, and partners. Translate customer and partner requirements into clear technical specs, manage dependencies, and unblock delivery. • Quality & Reliability: Sweat the details of data accuracy, sync reliability, error handling, observability, and supportability so integrations work well in real customer workflows. • Measure Integration Impact: Establish and track KPIs for technical performance, customer outcomes, and business impact, including adoption, reliability, retention, and customer satisfaction. • Repeatable Patterns: Codify repeatable patterns, reference architectures, and implementation playbooks that help customers adopt integrations and apps faster. • Drive Product Feedback: Turn integration learnings into clear, actionable feedback for Remote teams — what to add, fix, and improve across APIs, CLIs, and the product overall. General Requirements • Senior-Level Experience (Required): Track record as a Product Manager with a strong focus on Integrations, APIs, or Platform ecosystems . • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for customers and a strong sense of what matters most in their day-to-day workflows. Excellent communicator and collaborative partner to customers. • Partner-Facing Experience: Proven experience building trusted relationships with external organizations and communicating clearly in partner-facing settings. • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, navigate trade-offs, and keep teams focused on what matters most for customers. • Strong UX Sensibilities: A passion for effortless experiences. You believe that data syncing, even at scale across jurisdictions, should feel simple and seamless to the end user. • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code (Required): You must be able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes — not just write specs. You can understand sample code, API responses, and integration flows hands-on. • Domain Expertise (HRIS/Payroll - nice to have): Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms (Workday, HiBob, BambooHR, Personio, ADP, Paychex, or similar). You understand data models, sync patterns, and common integration pain points in the space. • Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex technical integrations to non-technical executives and clearly articulate value to external partners. • Language: Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English. Practicals • You'll report to: Senior Group Product Manager • Team: Product Management • Location : Global • Start date: As soon as possible Remote Compensation Philosophy Remote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
