This role goes beyond managing timelines; you'll lead transformational AI implementation projects that help some of the world's largest industrial organisations modernise the way they operate.<br><br>From contract signing through deployment and value realisation, you'll partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects that create lasting business impact.<br> <h1>The <span style="color: rgb(0, 41, 255);">Impact</span> you bring to Cognite</h1> <ul> <li> <div>As the Project Manager, you'll be accountable for the successful delivery of complex Industrial AI implementation projects by:</div> </li> <li>Leading end-to-end project delivery from kickoff through deployment, adoption, and value realisation.</li> <li>Owning project scope, schedule, budget, quality, customer outcomes, and commercial performance.</li> <li>Collaborating with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product teams, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality solutions.</li> <li>Translating customer objectives into measurable success metrics and facilitating Value Realisation Workshops to demonstrate business impact.</li> <li>Managing project financials, including forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, cost management, and reporting.</li> <li>Building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, leading steering committees, and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.</li> <li>Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and scope changes while ensuring appropriate governance and transparency.</li> <li>Supporting customer adoption through change management, enablement, and training while recognising opportunities to expand customer value.</li> <li>Contributing to the continuous improvement of delivery practices by applying Cognite's PMO methodologies, playbooks, and lessons learned.</li> </ul> <h4>Required Qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>5+ years of experience delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology implementation projects.</li> <li>Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams.</li> <li>Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture, and enterprise systems, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams and informed decision-making.</li> <li>Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, and project profitability.</li> <li>Experience within one or more industrial sectors, including Energy, Manufacturing, Oil Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power Renewables, or Life Sciences.</li> <li>Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and project governance frameworks such as Scrum, PMP, or PRINCE2.</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across technical teams, customers, and executive stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.</li> <li>Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.</li> <li>Speak fluent German </li> </ul> <h4>Preferred skills:</h4> <ul> <li> <div>We're particularly interested if you also bring experience in:</div> </li> <li>PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.</li> <li>Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.</li> <li>Industrial IoT, SCADA, MES, or Operational Technology (OT) environments.</li> <li>AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Analytics implementation projects.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Cognite?</strong></p> <p>At Cognite, you'll have the opportunity to work at the forefront of Industrial AI, partnering with some of the world's leading industrial organisations to solve complex, real-world challenges.<br><br>You'll join a collaborative, inclusive, and fast-moving environment where innovation, curiosity, and
