Through Global Finance Services (GFS), we provide high-quality, efficient and compliant finance operations that support business performance worldwide.</p> <h2>Role Overview</h2> <p>Reporting to the Global Revenue Controller, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting activities within our Global Finance Services (GFS) shared services organisation, acting as a subject matter expert across complex revenue recognition, accrued and deferred revenue positions and period-end close. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards, maintaining the integrity of revenue-related balance sheet accounts and supporting high-quality financial reporting.<br><br>Working closely with GFS RTR and OTC teams, you will perform core revenue accounting activities, support period-end close, investigate accounting issues and contribute to the effective delivery of the end-to-end Order to Cash process.</p> <h2>Here s what you ll be doing</h2> <h3>Revenue Accounting &amp; Financial Close</h3> <ul> <li>Prepare and process revenue accounting journals and financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.</li> <li>Perform reconciliations for accrued revenue, deferred revenue, contract liability and related balance sheet accounts, driving timely clearance of aged or complex reconciling items.</li> <li>Apply revenue recognition policies to assigned contracts in accordance with IFRS 15 or applicable standards.</li> <li>Reconcile revenue ledger postings to billing system data and investigate variances.</li> <li>Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, including cut-off reviews and period-end adjustments.</li> <li>Maintain accurate revenue accounting records, contract schedules and supporting documentation.</li> <li>Assist with preparation of revenue reporting schedules and supporting information.</li> <li>Investigate routine revenue accounting issues and escalate complex matters where appropriate.</li> <li>Support the Global Revenue Controller in the delivery of revenue accounting, governance and financial control objectives, and share knowledge and good practice with peers.</li> </ul> <h3>Stakeholder Management &amp; Governance</h3> <ul> <li>Partner with GFS RTR, OTC and Group Finance teams to resolve revenue accounting issues.</li> <li>Support audit activities by providing documentation and responding to information requests.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and governance requirements.</li> </ul> <h3>Continuous Improvement</h3> <ul> <li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality and revenue accounting processes.</li> </ul> <h2>What you ll bring</h2> <h3>Qualifications &amp; Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.</li> <li>Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent required.</li> <li>Demonstrated relevant experience in revenue accounting within a global Shared Services Centre (SSC) or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.</li> <li>Experience supporting revenue recognition, reconciliations, journal processing and month-end close.</li> </ul> <h3>Technical &amp; Operational Expertise</h3> <ul> <li>Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15 or equivalent).</li> <li>Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or similar accounting platforms.</li> <li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables and reconciliations.</li> <li>Understanding financial controls, compliance and reporting requirements.</li> </ul> <h3>Problem Solving &amp; Innovation</h3> <ul> <li>Investigate reconciliation differences, revenue recognition issues and data quality exceptions.</li> <li>Resolve routine accounting issues independently while escalating complex matters appropriately.</li> <li>Support improvements to accounting processes and controls.</li> </ul> <h3>Stakeholder Management &amp; Communication</h3> <ul> <li>Build effective relationships with Finance, Commercial teams and other internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Communicate clearly regarding revenue accounting queries and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Work collaboratively across the shared services organisation.</li> </ul> <h3>Performance, Impact &amp; Ways of Working</h3> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accounting accuracy.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet period-end deadlines.</li> <li>Collaborative team player focused on delivering accurate financial information and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <h2>Why join us</h2> <p>You ll play an important role in supporting revenue accounting quality, financial reporting accuracy and revenue recognition compliance within a global finance organisation.</p><div class=&quot;content-conclusion&quot;><div class=&quot;elementToProof&quot;><em>Don t meet every job requirement?
