We value resilience, transparency, ownership, and customer devotion, and infuse these values into everything we do. </p></div><p>We’re looking for a collaborative, self-motivated <strong>Senior DevOps Engineer </strong>to join our DevOps team.</p> <p>As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll help enable the broader engineering organization to do high-impact work by building and improving the infrastructure, tooling, and deployment systems they rely on every day. You’ll contribute to the development of standardized infrastructure and “paved paths” that make it easier to provision, deploy, and operate services reliably at scale.</p> <p>You’ll collaborate closely with application engineering teams to ensure our container-based infrastructure is scalable, cost-efficient, and dependable across a wide range of workloads.</p> <h2><strong>What You ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Partner with DevOps and application engineering teams to design and improve standardized infrastructure, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipelines</li> <li>Build, operate, and continuously improve our containerized infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency</li> <li>Bring deep expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem, helping define best practices and support adoption across engineering teams</li> <li>Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS, including compute, networking, and storage systems</li> <li>Improve observability, monitoring, and incident readiness across production systems</li> <li>Participate in a shared on-call rotation (approximately 1 week every 5 weeks), responding to and resolving production incidents</li> <li>Mentor teammates and share knowledge to improve engineering practices and operational maturity across the organization</li> </ul> <h2><strong>To Be Set Up for Success in This Role, You ll Need to Have</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments</li> <li>Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform</li> <li>Solid experience working with AWS (e.g., EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, Route53)</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Argo CD</li> <li>Experience working with containerized systems such as Docker and containerd</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud security best practices and modern approaches to securing infrastructure, including shift-left principles</li> <li>Experience operating and scaling high-traffic systems and large-scale data platforms in production environments</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to debugging and system design</li> <li>Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a distributed environment</li> </ul> <h2><strong>If Any of the Below Also Describe You, This Could Be an Exciting Opportunity</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience improving developer workflows and reducing friction in deployment and infrastructure processes</li> <li>Familiarity with tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem such as Helm, Argo CD, and Karpenter</li> <li>Experience enhancing observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging systems</li> <li>Experience contributing to infrastructure documentation and internal enablement efforts</li> <li>Interest in continuously evaluating and adopting new technologies where they provide clear value</li> </ul> <h2><strong>In Addition, We re Always Looking for Candidates Who</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Take ownership of their work and proactively identify opportunities for improvement</li> <li>Collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to a strong engineering culture</li> <li>Balance speed and pragmatism with long-term system reliability and maintainability</li> <li>Are comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a distributed team</li> <li>Communicate clearly, give and receive feedback, and support teammates when needed</li> <li>Proactively incorporate AI tools into day-to-day work to improve productivity and accelerate delivery</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Interview Overview</strong></h3> <p>Below you ll find an outline of the interview plan for this role.
