About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect for the Developer Platform, you will shape and lead the regional technical strategy for our customer and partner engagements across APJC.
In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leaders, architects, developers, security teams, and executives to define architectures, validate technical approaches, and confidently transition production workloads onto Cloudflare. Rather than focusing on a single account, you will operate across a dynamic portfolio of engagements, ensuring broad impact.
A central part of your role involves translating your field experience into reusable organizational knowledge. You will create architectural frameworks, provide technical guidance, and champion the needs of regional customers directly to our product teams. This is a senior, individual-contributor role that beautifully balances hands-on architecture, executive collaboration, and regional technical leadership. You will report directly to the Director of Developer GTM, APJC.
What You’ll Do
• Shape Strategy: Guide the technical strategy for Developer Platform customers and partners across the region.
• Design & Translate: Transform business, application, security, and operational requirements into secure, scalable, and highly maintainable architectures on Cloudflare.
• Collaborate & Advise: Partner with engineering executives and senior stakeholders to advise on application modernization, distributed systems, AI architecture, and platform strategy.
• Facilitate Discovery: Lead architecture discovery sessions, technical workshops, proofs of concept, design reviews, and production-readiness discussions in a supportive, consultative manner.
• Create Frameworks: Establish reference architectures, architectural standards, and governance patterns that empower our customers and the broader APJC field organization.
• Stay Hands-On: Build, review, and troubleshoot representative applications and integrations.
• Champion the Region: Serve as a Developer Platform technical leader through presentations, written guidance, and internal enablement.
• Mentor & Grow: Support and mentor fellow solutions architects and technical colleagues navigating complex customer engagements.
• Bridge Teams: Build effective, continuous feedback loops between customers, field teams, and product leaders, translating regional needs into actionable product and go-to-market recommendations.

By the end of your first year, you will have:
• Become a trusted technical advisor and collaborative partner to customers, partners, and internal leaders.
• Established clear, actionable technical strategies and adoption plans for priority engagements.
• Helped customers successfully validate and launch their production workloads on Cloudflare.
• Published reusable reference architectures and field guidance that elevate the entire team.
• Improved the field organization’s ability to position, architect, and deliver Cloudflare’s developer and AI solutions.
• Cultivated the technical leadership of your colleagues through active mentorship and enablement.
• Provided product teams with consistent, evidence-based insights into regional customer requirements and adoption barriers.
• Become recognized as a supportive, authoritative Developer Platform leader across APJC.
What We’re Looking For
• Meaningful Experience: A strong background in solutions architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role. While candidates often bring 10+ years of experience, we care most about your demonstrated scope, impact, and ability to deliver results.
