Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities
• Manage job creation, invoicing, and purchase orders using internal systems.
• Maintain and update databases, pricing information, and digital records.
• Support proposal and tender preparation by coordinating documentation and ensuring timely submissions.
• Monitor invoices and coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing or administrative issues.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the team and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Good command of English (B2+ or equivalent).
• Previous administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn is an advantage.
Technical Report Editor – E-bike/Bicycle Testing
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate and timely test reports by reviewing laboratory records, test orders, protocols, photographs, and supporting documentation.
• Validate technical information, identify inconsistencies, request missing details, and ensure reports are complete and accurate.
• Draft, edit, and finalize test reports using approved templates, incorporating relevant technical observations and feedback.
• Ensure reports comply with EFBE quality standards, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and SGS procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and compliance with SGS Code of Integrity, QHSE policies, and documentation standards.
• Work closely with engineering and laboratory teams to ensure accurate interpretation and presentation of test results.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education and experience.
• C1 English proficiency or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of bicycle and e-bike technology, including components, systems, terminology, and test procedures.
• Experience or exposure to bicycle/e-bike testing, quality assurance, or technical documentation is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word-based documentation and structured reporting templates.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical protocols, handwritten lab notes, and image-based evidence.
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage reports independently and accurately.
Data Validator
Key Responsibilities
• Process and validate laboratory data, including calculations, quality checks, LIMS entries, and other data management activities.
• Review data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Perform data verification and identify discrepancies or issues that may impact data quality and turnaround times.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed within required deadlines and escalate potential delays when necessary.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams to support efficient data processing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related Science field (Chemistry preferred).
• Background or experience in laboratory testing and data validation, with potential assignment to Shared Inorganics, Sample Analysis – Industrial & Environment (I&E), or Sample Analysis – Health & Nutrition (H&N) teams.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience using chromatography instruments (LC or GC); experience with mass spectrometry is an advantage.
• Experience in food testing laboratories is preferred; environmental testing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with laboratory software such as Chromeleon, MassHunter, MultiQuant, or Analyst is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Analyst Programmer
Key Responsibilities
• Work with development team to improve and extend the functionality of existing products and services. 
• Assist in the development of new tools and processes to improve productivity. 
• Maintain high standards of software development, ensuring release call logs maintain a high initial pass rate. 
• Monitor and maintain all software systems and services to ensure our customer SLA’s are maintained. 
• Update software specifications and documentation in accordance with team working practices. 
• Configure and implement customer systems based on requirement specifications. 
• Liaise with Help Desk to assist in investigating customer faults and queries. 
• Maintain and apply updates to hosted and customer systems. 
• Where required, investigate and implement new methods, functionality or systems within the SGS software architecture. 
• Remains familiar with SGS quality assurance procedures.
