Warehouse Assistant (Cold Store Operations)

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in daily cold store operations, including receiving, storing, picking and issuing of goods. • Perform and record all inbound and outbound goods transactions accurately in the warehouse computer system. • Verify goods received and issued against delivery orders and system records. • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts and reconciliation. • Ensure all warehouse records and documents are properly maintained and filed • Monitor and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and near-expiry products. • Loading and unloading of goods as required • Ensure the cold store and work areas are clean, organised and safe. • Comply with company procedures, food safety and workplace safety requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager. What we're looking for • Previous experience in warehouse operations or cold storage environments is highly desirable • Physical fitness and ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods • Forklift certification and computer knowledge • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly • High level of personal responsibility and commitment to workplace safety About us Incorporated in 1996, the company specializes in supplying fresh and frozen pork.
